To Our Incredible Mountain Community and Amazing Volunteers,
We, Gregg and Mary, could not be more grateful for the support and enthusiasm you showed us this past weekend at The North Fork Ranch Haunted Hayrides: Tales of the Lost Souls!
Presented by Tami & Ray with Blacktop and Dust, our first official event was everything we dreamed of and more. We had more people than we ever expected, and seeing the community turn out like that has left us eternally grateful. Thank you all for making our inaugural hayride event such a stunning success.
A HUGE “THANK YOU” & Shout Out to Our Star Players!
The scares were brought to life by the wildly creative and talented crew from Mile High Theater. A massive thank you goes to Pete, Sarah, and Ursula, our phenomenal storytellers, and the rest of the Mile High volunteers for their incredible efforts.
We also want to give a special, huge, freezer-defying thank you to
Taylor Walters and his Boy Scout Troop #128. You took things completely over the top, especially on Saturday night! The Mile High Theater staff and Troop 128 spent two nights out in the very cold weather, cold, hungry, and tired, doing everything they could to entertain those that attended. Your dedication is truly inspiring.
And finally, to the man who kept the chills coming even off the rides: Tino, our wandering creepy scary clown—you were absolutely fantastic and kept the scares alive!
Fueling the Fun
The atmosphere was perfect, thanks to these amazing folks:
• Bošković Farms: A special thank you for your generous donation of 100 pounds of apples! They were the star ingredient in our absolutely delicious caramel apple nachos.
• Wandering Spirits Mobile Bar: Justin, Andy & Dan, the service and cocktails were over the top! Thank you for keeping the adults happy.
• The Junk Food Dream Team: Thank you to Brian, Cesar, Nancy, Nicole, Robin, and Cheyenne for serving all the yummy, delicious, fattening junk food both nights we all enjoyed so much. To the girls your makeup was on point both nights!
• The Vibe Master: A huge thank you to our DJ Loren for the music and keeping everything moving smoothly all weekend.
• Insight & Clarity: Thank you to Mallory, our tarot card reader, who provided insight, guidance, and clarity to those who needed it.
• Creative Fun: Thank you to Quest Face Painting, Misty, Molly, Krystal & Kurt for their very talented and creative face painting and balloon animals that everyone, especially the kids, really enjoyed.
The Unsung Heroes of Logistics and Safety: We simply could not have managed the massive crowd without our operational crew:
• The Drivers: Gregg, Ray, and Jonathan— you moved well over 480 people safely through the Ranch on those hayrides. Your tireless work kept the lines moving and the fun going.
• The Security Team: Thank you to our security staff, Michael, Jessica, and Walter, for keeping everyone safe and sound throughout the event. Thank you to the dads of Boy Scout Troop 128 for providing safe and efficient parking lot duties and ticket collection for our hayrides.
• The Welcome Committee: Thank you to Tami, Amanda and Brenda at the ticketing booth for welcoming everybody to the ranch and keeping all of the money coming in safely and accounted for.
• Keeping it Clean: A huge thank you to Bodie with Global Sanitation for providing some of the cleanest Porta Potties I’ve ever come across!
• Scare Support: Thank you to Ray, Tami, Jennifer, Matt, Janet & Natalia for loaning us some of their very creepy personal Halloween decorations. To be honest, several of them gave Mary & Tami the willies! A huge thank you to Carolyn who provided us several used an old Boy Scout uniforms for our ghouls.
• Our Community Promotional Partners: We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to all the local business owners who graciously allowed us to post flyers, cards, and promotional materials in their establishments. Your willingness to help spread the word to your customers was instrumental in drawing our record-breaking crowd this year!

Yes, it's more expensive but our girls deserve it and we believe our customers know the difference. Holiday turkeys bring a special touch to any holiday table.
